GAZA EMERGENCY WRITE TO YOUR MP NOW
We have the power to demand our MPs speak on our behalf to end the British involvement in the war crimes being committed right now in Gaza.
This WILL make a difference if we all do it. The way the UK responds to Israel in this situation is incredibly important and holds a lot of influence. Even over the past week there has been a shift in tone from the UK government, particularly after they were threatened with legal action for their part in war crimes.
Copy and paste the letter template below, amend or write your own. Do it right now, and get everybody you know to do it too. You can find out who your MP is and their email address here.

LETTER TEMPLATE FOR YOUR MP
{YOUR FULL ADDRESS}
{YOUR POSTCODE}
{DATE}
Dear {MP NAME},
My name is {YOUR NAME} and I am a constituent of {YOUR CONSTITUENCY}. I am writing to you today because I am deeply concerned about the urgent humanitarian situation in Gaza. We cannot stand by while the UK government is complicit in the war crimes Israel is committing.
As an MP you have the platform, the voice and the power to stand up for the human rights of the 2 million people living in Gaza, half of them children. You must put pressure on our leaders to demand Israel comply with international law. We are witnessing ethnic cleansing and genocide on a scale and speed not seen in our lifetimes.
I am asking you to take the following steps to address my concerns:
-
Speak up for Palestinians and strongly condemn any actions taken by any MP that backs Israel when committing warcrimes in Gaza and demand the UK is not complicit.
-
Speak up against bias and misinformation in the media
-
Demand Israel stops the bombing of civilians, does not drop white phosphorus, does not cut off the water, power, gas, aid or the food supply.
In your response I would like you to outline the ways you intend to address this on my behalf. If you’re unable to address this personally, I would like to request that you escalate my letter to the relevant Minister or department.
Please do keep me informed of any progress made.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
{YOUR NAME}
